statement discloses our standard practice regarding the information we collect and
the information we hold on behalf of our customers.
Customer Data
We collect and store information about our customers which includes contact information
and billing information. We use this information to contact our customers through
both email and regular mail regarding the service and to alert them of new products
and services. Financial information (like a credit card number) is also collected
for the purpose of billing the customer for services purchased.
In order to provide a 24 hour monitoring service for the equipment purchased on
this website, we also require detailed information about our customers and their
key contacts. This includes medical history, doctors contact details and key holders
for the property. This information is held securely on the database within the Tunstall
Response monitoring centre and is only accessed when an alarm call is generated
or to check that the information is up to date. It is the responsibility of customers
to regularly update the information held by Tunstall by raising an alarm call and
telling the operator the changes required.
Tunstall does not pass on or disclose this personal information to third parties,
but from time to time we may wish to send you further information about us. This
only happens if you give your consent, which will be clearly indicated to you at
the point where you leave your details.
Use of Cookies
Our site uses cookies to authenticate the user and keep track of the user session.
We also use cookies to govern over survey voting. We do not use cookies to collect
any information about you. All cookies, except those used for survey validation,
expire within several hours after a period of idle use.
